I bought my first camera about 5 years ago. For my entire life, I was always interested in photography, but many other hobbies and responsibilities prevented me from having time to get out there and take some pictures.

I’ve learned so much in the past 5 years about photography and I have pursued it with complete enthusiasm and passion (You can ask my wife about this – if she hears about beautiful lighting or L lenses anymore, I think she may kill me).

I’ve taken classes at ICP and enhanced my learning from the great photographers there. I have read countless books on photography. What I love about photography is that I never seem to hit a wall. There is always something new to learn; there are so many different disciplines, lenses, lighting situations, etc. Because I live in New York City, I have been drawn to photographing the city scapes of my neighborhood, Astoria. I’ve also been drawn to photographing the street life of New York City. And finally, I love photographing the people around me – family, friends, and my wife.
